This comparison asks one narrow question: what would a month of sustained, standard one-credit RPC requests cost at the same request rate? It normalizes different billing models without treating unlike products as identical.

Methodology

  • 30 days at 100% sustained utilization: monthly volume is RPS × 2,592,000, all of it standard one-credit requests. Premium methods, submission TPS, discounts and negotiated pricing are out of scope.
  • The cost axis is logarithmic, so the Corvus capacity curve stays readable beside metered usage totals.
  • Corvus points use the least expensive published plan covering the plotted RPS. The curve stops at the top published plan; above it, capacity is a custom configuration you price in the dashboard, so the table shows a custom quote rather than an extrapolation.

Normalized values apply the published $5 per additional million credits past a plan's included volume. Values above 500 RPS stack Professional's $100/month per 100 RPS add-on; that segment is an inference, so it is dashed in the graph. Free cannot cover a sustained month at 10 RPS, so that row uses Developer plus overage.

Triton

Triton publishes pay-as-you-go pricing of $10 per million standard calls plus $0.08 per GB. Assuming a 1 KB response per call:

$10.00 + (1 GB × $0.08) = $10.08 per million calls
1 sustained RPS-month = 2.592 million calls = $26.12736

The plotted values multiply that by sustained RPS. Triton's $125 starting balance is prepaid usage credit rather than a monthly plan price, and its default shared limit of roughly 120 RPS average is a rate limit, not plan capacity.

Streaming: gRPC and WebSocket

Corvus includes streaming in the plan price: standard WebSocket and Yellowstone gRPC on every plan, and aRPC once plan RPS and TPS total 500. A busy Yellowstone stream is mostly bandwidth, so the models diverge the same way the RPC ones do: Corvus sells capacity, Helius sells tiers plus terabytes, Triton meters gigabytes.

The chart plots decimal terabytes, so Triton's $0.08/GB is $80/TB. The Corvus line is flat because streams are billed by plan capacity rather than volume; a wide subscription may sit on a higher preset ($325 or $400) and still not vary with bandwidth. The Helius series is dashed because it is an inference: Professional plus a data add-on, using the lower of the two conflicting add-on schedules Helius published at the time of verification. Add-ons are published for Professional only and start at 5 TB, so nothing is plotted below that, and overage past an add-on tier is not plotted.

Latency

The bars above are paired p50 receive-time differences from verified Corvus benchmark runs, each measuring when the same transaction reached the client from every provider at once.

  • Helius LaserStream: +2 ms. Two paired 10,000-transaction runs against Helius's Frankfurt LaserStream endpoint (July 25, 2026) put the Corvus Yellowstone stream a median 1.8 and 2.0 ms ahead.
  • Triton Dragon's Mouth: +2.2 ms. One paired 1,000-transaction run (July 22, 2026) put the Corvus stream a median 2.2 ms ahead.

These are client-observed receive-time deltas, and each run is content-hashed and verified in our benchmark system.
